I approach my work with sensitivity and compassion to create a safe environment in which issues can be explored.  I have over twenty years of experience working with adults, couples, adolescents and children.

My approach is to help you to discover the unique person you are, whether you are a professional, an artist, a stay-at-home parent, a couple, or a child.  Whether your challenge is situational, chronic, or acute, my goal is to help you learn how to create a more meaningful and fulfilled life and enrich your relationships with others. To become more awake to pursue a life that truly mirrors who you are, regardless of how unique it may be.

I work deeply and pragmatically, so that you gain both insight and practical knowledge, and I am always mindful of the deeper, spiritual aspects of what it means to change and evolve. My goal is to help you gain radical acceptance while actively creating the life that you want to be living.

I have worked with people on many issues including:

    • creating/maintaining healthy, intimate relationships
    • couples therapy
    • spiritual growth
    • creativity
    • life transitions
    • issues related to gender identity and/or expression
    • issues related to sexuality, including but not limited to: sex and intimacy, performance, LGBTQI related issues, BDSM, polyamory, and open relationships
    • grief and loss (death, divorce, life changes, etc)
    • parenting
    • conflict resolution
    • infidelity
    • addiction, including sex addiction
    • paraphilias and sex offending
    • codependency

I am a Licensed Psychologist. My work is informed by Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, the Gottman Method, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as alternatives therapies such as Transcendental Meditation, 12 step programs, and psychobiological interventions.

All of our meetings will be online or via phone. I no longer work out of a physical office; I have found my work to be as effective as when I met in person and meeting this way provides more opportunity for continuity of treatment.

Taking the first step is often the most difficult. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to set up a first appointment. *Please note I am not accepting new clients into my practice at this time.*
